Glow sticks are tube-like products containing chemical substances which allow for a chemical reaction to produce light. A mesmerizing glow is given to an event location by the use of glow sticks. So many event organizers make use of glow sticks. They help in providing cool look and dramatic ambiance to the area or venue. Use of glow sticks at parties bring fun and enjoyment for all ages of individuals. Many different colors, shapes, and designs of glow sticks can be used for parties, gatherings and other events. This produces a flash to the beat of music when sound is played.

Glow sticks can be used for birthday parties which provide a memorable experience at a relatively low cost. Some black lights can be used for glowing in the dark objects. Certain glow products at party food and decoration also attract many people.

The main objective of technology is to make things easier and faster for us. Technology has made many things like transportation, work, communications, etc, very easy to handle. We haven’t done much invention on sports side though. The inventions, I am talking about, do not include live telecasting or replays which made an easy thing for us to enjoy and judge in sports; but about increasing the capability and capacity of sportsmen.

With the recent Olympics, we have come across much invention in the sports side, which makes sportsmen easier to win the competition. But these are not appreciable in serious competitions as they decrease the spirit of sportsmanship. We saw many records have been replaced by new ones in many sports this time. None of them could have done that without the usage of technology in extreme levels. These new technology gadgets are influencing success in sports.

So slowly there will be no more competition in terms of talent and hard work. They are going to be replaced by technology and gadgets war.

Then what will be the difference between the robot sports and human sports?

I Like To Build a Fishing Chair for My Grandpa

My grandpa loves to read and fishing is his hobby. I can buy chair from any big departmental store for less than 20 bucks but I want to make a fishing chair and present it to my grandpa as a gift. This fishing chair can be built from scratch with scrap. There are few steps that are to be followed while making fishing chair.

Gather the entire tool and materials, which are required like wood, saw, screws, drill etc., and break some 2*4 lumber 1 ½ inches wide and in various lengths according to the individual preferences. To lay out the above pieces take a flat surface for seat support and leg support about 8 to 10 inches from back frame. Align the back and seat frames in angle and mark each frame where it intersects the adjacent.

Cut the marks which are placed before and fit the pieces together with wood screw. Attach the front leg and seat gives support while connecting and this increases the strength of the chair. Then cut wood 1 ½ inches wide and ¾ inch think about 20 inches long for seat slats. Attach the slats, one on back where it intersects the seat, one at the front and one at the top of the back, after attaching and rip ½ inch thick strips for back frame and cut and attach arm rests. The chair is ready to use.

I hope my grandpa likes the special fishing chair, built especially for him.

Bills-Dolphins Game Is Interesting To Watch

Miami Dolphins are ready to play with their division-rival Buffalo Bills in the cozy confines of a domed stadium in this December. This is one of the most interesting games to watch in the season. On December 7th, 2008 at Toronto’s Rogers, Buffalo play a home game against Miami and Bills’ fans were unhappy regarding the decision of the stadium.

Two season tickets holder’s and fans of Bills team, Andrew Petrinec and Al Keohane, organized a petition for having the domed stadium’s retractable roof open. But the stadium authority were not ready for this petition because of lack of proper drainage system in case of rain or snow fall and roof was locked after the end of the baseball session.

They have collected 1000 signatures on internet and in person for making a difference for Bills team. Bills team will loose many advantages in the game against Dolphins because of the unopened roof. The game lovers are trying hard to convey to stadium authorities to minimize the disadvantages for Bills team.

But the stadium authorities announced that there will not be an opened roof. But we have to wait and see how the match will be played and who will win the match.

Yet another Crazy UFO Game

It was in May 2007 that this game was released in the name “UFO: Extraterrestrials”.

I don’t know whether UFOs really exist or not, but I don’t understand why they make such games. They try to run something on UFOs and aliens, and expect them to be super hits. It is not fair at all to expect from gamers to make them a big hit without providing what they want.

I don’t know that playing UFO games can be so horrible experience. I agree that they have good tactical and strategic elements in them. But you could have added upon little technology and graphics in it. These days you can find implementing good technology even in mobile games.

The first game of the series was released in 1993 in the name of XCOM series. Since then the game planning and plots have not improved significantly. You have to work a little on the change of gamers view or else you will end up in bad reviews.
